Coach andrea

I am an ASCA level 4 swim coach, ACSM Certified personal trainer, and health specialist with over two decades of global head coaching experience. Holding a degree in Health and Human Performance, my career spans impactful leadership roles in Japan, Germany, and the U.S. Former Head Coach for TSV 1860 Ansbach, I led four swimmers to earn the EFSL All-Star Awards and a 10 year old girl to earn the High Point Trophy at Short Distance Championships 2026. I also guided our German team to win the girls, boys and overall team score trophy at the German Goldsprinterpokal in 2024. Some of my coaching career highlights were to lead the Stuttgart Piranhas to three consecutive Rhineland Divisional Championships (2016–2018), developed Junior Olympics and Zone qualifiers for the Scarlet Aquatics NJ, built a successful aquatic program for the Boys and Girls Club of Paterson and Passaic in NJ and developed the largest military swim team in Japan.

As a former Brazilian Olympic Trials qualifier in the 100-meter breaststroke and breaststroke state record holder (100 and 200 meters), I blend elite athletic experience with certified expertise in nutrition and strength conditioning. My mission is to cultivate well-rounded athletes by developing their technical precision, physical strength, and mental resilience, ultimately helping them uncover their inner champion. When I’m not coaching, I’m usually working out, traveling with my husband, Jason, or staying active by swimming or playing volleyball. I’m also a proud mom to two amazing daughters: Jazlyn, a college freshman, Alexia (24) who is currently living in Arizona and our two Persian cats, Jazpurr and Lexie.
